Egypt’s Global Entrepreneurship Festival Targets US$250 Million in Investment Deals

From 6 to 8 November, Cairo hosted the third Global Entrepreneurship Festival, connecting entrepreneurs with investors, financial institutions and international business networks. Organisers targeted more than US$250 million in investment deals and partnerships, compared with around US$55 million at the previous edition. The current figure is an event target, not confirmed venture-capital funding. The event creates opportunities for startups, incubators and venture investors.
