INSEE Reports Strong Increases in French Energy and Industrial Commodity Prices

On 27 October 2026, INSEE reported that industrial raw-material prices in euros were 20.5% higher year-on-year in September, while non-ferrous metal prices increased by 32.9%. Food commodity prices, by comparison, declined by 1.3% year-on-year. These figures create demand for commodity research, pricing forecasts and procurement intelligence.
