On 29 October 2026, Mauritania’s Minister of Economy and Development held discussions in Madrid with the President of the Spanish Chamber of Commerce to strengthen commercial and investment cooperation. The talks followed Mauritania’s participation in the World Investment Forum and its efforts to attract foreign investment into productive sectors.
